The Eliezah Foundation Central Desk Has today started Operations in Wakiso. The Desk is part of the activities of EFI Building Bridges For Women Programme that will run through out 2019 and 2023 with an aim of providing information, technical support and emergency support services to Community Women in Wakiso district.
The community action groups will use the Desk as a referral centre on GBV support services. Building bridges for women is a programme that will see different projects implemented with the aim of ending violence at the grassroots and encouraging communities to participate in these projects.
The Central Desk was designed to avail referrals of GBV cases, Provide information to community action groups, support the ICE material Dissemination process and supplement on the Statistical Development of the Building Bridges For Women and Girls programme.
