Why STEM in PED Schools

We realised that the enrollment of women in STEM in Uganda and almost world-wide is still lacking and with an opportunity of the PED program that trains Online and Offline EndVAWGs peer educators, we want to increase the number of young girls who take up STEM Courses in schools through out the PED network through education and career guidance side engagements.

Since we have seen the best of results with our Online and Offline Safety Trainings in PED schools, we believe young women have the potential to explore STEM as an advanced source of income that guarantees their seat at the table on financial growth and personal development.

Current Opportunities

We are starting with the 29 Schools from the Eastern, Western, Central and Norther regions that we have already worked with since inception in 2019. If the resources are realised, we intend to include more schools in the program to maximise benefit.

The Exploitation of Children on and offline is fast growing in Uganda and the Internet Penetration is as fast to match the 4th Industrial revolution.

Aware of the challenges, we are working with schools to expand literacy on Online and Ofline safety for girls.

We are focusing on Technology

We've seen the 4th industrial revolution prove that there is more to come. We donot want women and girls to miss the opportunity of exploring the most viable resources that promote competition and opportunity for us to thrive. We are aware of the role of technology in the development of the world and we want to be part of it so that we can expand our knowledge base, grow our finances and compete at top-notch tech jobs globally.
