We have delivered on the promises of everyday Equality. The strategy had core initiatives to undertake and we have touched on all of them with in this period. The COVID-19 pandemic brought bits of set-backs but we thrived through it.

A transformative experience
Extremely Proud of the efiug team, our supporters, local and foriegn, community group members, efiug advisory among others for taking the first step in ensuring safety and growth for owmen and girls. We have acted on our promise, we delivered and the war rages on. Viva efiug.
What has Worked?
Though there is still a lot of work to do to ensure that girls fulfill their potential in their early years and make their adulthood as equally important, we are working with community groups to ensure that women and girls are set to Get the best start in life.
In March 2019, the Building Bridges For Women Program was launched with three main goals:-
- Increasing access to early and tailored GBV support, information and advice.
- Supporting more young women and girls to move into work. And,
- Challenging attitudes and barriers that limit women’s potential
Ending Violence Against Women and Girls
The BBW Community and cultural Action Plan was created and Network building began. 4 months down the road, a strong and cordinated network began operations to support regions to tailor GBV services and provide support to survivors
Community Desks
Community Desks were created in the nine (9) districts we work with and community groups were empowered to support local efforts to curb Violence Against Women and Girls. 124 Stakeholder-Personnel benefited directly from the trainings provided by the Building Bridges For Women Program.
Information & Education
Since 2018, More than 70 Community Dialogues, School Engagements and Social workshops have been held to engage men, boys, women, men, cultural and religious leader among other actors in conversations, capacity building sessions, and legal support information sessions on Violence against women, Business, Investment and Technology.
Women In Work
Between June 2021 and May 2022, Thirty seven (37) Small Scale businesses have been created in different communities to support women, women groups and girls to learn business, invest in Business and generate income. More women are getting into work, though the challenge remains the policing of safety for women in work, through combined civil society we have seen very important amendments passed by parliament to directly influence women’s role in work and the important of safeguarding them.
Advancing Women's Voices
The Speak Out Violence program is providing opportunities for more women and girls to come out, talk about the violence in their lives and seek support as may be required from efiug at the comfort of their hub offices. Women Groups have independed leaderships. This Provides an opportunity for women and girls to learn how to make choices and to Live the Life They choose.
Blending Technology to End VAWGS
Technology remains one of the most important segments of a good life today, We are trying to explore opportunities for women to benefit from Technology at community level. Due to the Pandemic the program started in 2022 and we are yet to find resources to facilitate Tech_projects.
Peer Education & Mentorship
By June 2019, we had started mentorship in schools under the Peer Education Program for yong women to have a voice on and offline and a platform to support one another.
