EFI Board Chair Concludes Tour of Central 1 Sub-Region Projects
Dr. Busonga is welcomed by kids at the Kalibville Orphange in Kakiri
Today, the Eliezah Foundation Initiative (EFI) Board Chairperson concluded a three-day tour of projects implemented by the foundation in the Central 1 sub-region. Accompanied by key program managers and project directors, the Chairperson visited over nine community hubs, four community income-generating activities (IGAs), and three ongoing “Building Better Women” (BBW) initiatives. During these visits, he spoke to and encouraged communities to participate actively in ending violence against women.
The purpose of these visits is to ensure that EFI projects are beneficial to the communities and that women are aware of the importance of providing feedback to the organization. These visits also reinforce the constant and vital objectives of EFI within its communities.
“I have been challenged by the women in the places I have visited. The spirit of togetherness, the hard work, the awareness, the love, and the support they provide to each other are amazing. This is the true spirit of the Eliezah Foundation,” said Dr. Busonga.
The board is also scheduled to visit projects in other regions of the country as soon as the board schedules are confirmed.
